"Just who are we?"

Well, we met on the Saturday after Thanksgiving back in 1989.  We bought and moved into our house in the Spring of 1991, and after 19 years here, we still enjoy our neighborhood of unique-styled homes from the 1920's.  A block away is a parkway beside a meandering creek, which leads to lakes in either direction.

We enjoy vacation travel.  Whale watching in the Pacific, wine tasting in Temecula, a bike ride along Mission Bay, walks along the beach and sightseeing in Old Town, Coronado, and La Jolla were among our activities during our trip to the San Diego area in March, 2009. 

In August, 2009, we joined Tom's siblings Jim, Paul and Nancy and their spouses, along with his niece Holly and family in Two Harbors, Minnesota along the north shore of Lake Superior.

We visited Two Harbors again in February, 2010 for our annual cross-country ski trip.  We skied through Gooseberry Falls State Park and also the Northwoods Ski Trail near Silver Bay, Minnesota.

In June of 2010, we drove to Toronto, Ontario and stayed for a week.  We toured the Toronto Zoo, Casa Loma, and the Royal Ontario Museum, attended a Second City performance and a Blue Jays game, and took a side trip to Niagara Falls.

Taking advantage of a warm October in 2010, we drove to Lanesboro, Minnesota for a long weekend.  We stayed at Mrs. B's Bed and Breakfast, a very pleasant place right downtown.  We took in "Enchanted April" at the Commonweal Theater and a bike ride on the scenic Root River State Trail.

Attending plays, musical concerts, Twins baseball, and movies are just some of our regular endeavors.  Recumbent bike rides, cross-country skiing, and long walks with Brady are some of our physical activities.

Though we are both introverts, we do complement each other well.  Having taken the Meyers-Briggs personality inventory assessment twice, Tom is clearly an "INFJ" and Mark is an " INTP".  In summary, Tom likes to plan ahead and have decisions completed, whereas Mark is more of a "play it by ear" type of guy.
